The Kixx Way

Kixx sessions develop children’s physical and social skills simultaneously promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Our sessions have been created and developed by professional footballers and trained coaches who use the best games, drills, exercises, and materials for working with children aged 2 to 10 years.

All sessions provide a fun, playful, safe environment which encourages children to develop a positive sense of themselves, respect for others, a positive disposition to learn new skills, and a sense of pride in their ability to master them.

Children's Football Coach

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a coach in our Kixx Football Academies in Doncaster!

  • We require a coach to deliver high quality football sessions to children aged 2-10 years at a variety of Kixx Academies.
  • You must be reliable, punctual and enthusiastic and have experience of working with children.
  • We are looking for a dynamic person who is able to:
  • Lead coaching sessions aligned with our Kixx curriculum
  • Take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare for the Kixx superstars and grownups we serve
  • Role model Kixx family values (Positivity, Passion, Fun& Creativity, Honesty & Openness, Care)
  • Preferably has an up to date first aid and safeguarding certificate
  • Formal training including access to the Kixx Qualification, Mentoring and CPD will be provided

The successful applicant will be:

  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Agile and dynamic and be able to manage their time effectively
  • Positive and caring personality with proven people skills to develop lasting relationships
  • Committed and flexible with availability to work weekend mornings
  • Confident and be able to express themselves and engage with people at different levels
  • Experienced in a sport coaching related role
  • Previous experience of working or interacting with children 7 years & under in a professional or personal capacity (advantageous but not essential)

Requirements for this position:

  • Hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle
  • A full enhanced DBS check is required and full training including safeguarding and first aid will be provided
  • Minimum of level 1 coaching qualification or alternate coaching qualification or early years experience
  • Be available to work weekends
