We understand that sometimes you just need straight forward answers to some quick initial questions. Here’s just a few of the answers to some questions we’re asked frequently, so hopefully it will save you a little time.
1. Can I have a free taster session?
At Kixx, we do not offer free taster sessions as we go one better with our money back guarantee. This means that if you sign up to Kixx and for any reason your little ones doesn’t love their first session, we will provide you with a full refund and you also get to keep the kit as a thank you for giving us a try. We are however, confident that after your first session, you will love being part of the Kixx family.
2. Can we just turn up and pay at the session?
3. What footwear does my child need?
Normal trainers are more than fine for all Kixx sessions. If your child would like to wear football boots as they get older we would ask that you only use ‘Astro’ boots with no studs.
4. When will my first payment leave my account?
Your membership fee will leave your account within 2-3 days of you booking a place. The first direct debit payment will leave your account around the time of your first session. If your session is due to start the same week your payment will be actioned straight away. If you have a deferred start date your first direct debit payment will leave your account around the time of your first session.
5. How do I get my Kixx kit?
When you book onto a Kixx session, one of our booking team will give you a call to ask what size kit your child will need. These are then sent out the next day where possible.
If we are unable to get hold of you we will send out a kit closest to your child’s age.
We are happy to change any kits that do not fit for another size.
6. What is the cancellation process?
We understand that children’s interest can change and with this in mind parents are able to cancel their direct debit at any time.To cancel we just ask parents to either email in or call us and we will cancel their direct debit for them.
It is also our passion at Kixx to keep improving every level of our service, so if there are any suggestions for improvement or we can help resolve any issues that have a led to a cancellation, then please contact email@example.com.
7. Where am I on the waiting list?
Sometimes we do get fully booked and we have to place interested parents/children on a waiting list. When you are on the waiting list and a place becomes available, we will send an email out to everyone at the same time. This gives all parents the same opportunity to get a place. This is followed up with a phone call 24 hours later to ensure all parents have had received their notice.
We are opening up new classes every month, so fingers crossed you will never be on the waiting list for too long, but if you’re ever in doubt, just pick up the phone, drop a message on social media or send an email. Our team is always happy to help you.
8. Is the session indoors or outdoors?
Sessions are held both indoors and outdoors and most sessions do move indoors during the winter months. For a specific academy, please contact the our head office team who will help you with your enquiry.
Any worries about the weather, you can contact the office or view your relevant academies Facebook pages for any updates that may have been placed.
9. What happens in the sessions?
Our sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, energetic and interactive. Our qualified coaches, design sessions that support children to develop confidence, team building, social skills and language whilst supporting them to develop ball skills to become a football superstar.
We are always developing new ways of coaching and teaming up with some of the best sporting bodies out there to offer the best service we can.
10. Is Kixx ‘Term Time’ Only?
Kixx Academies take place all year round. The children have 8 sessions then the 9th week is a rest week before back on for another 8 sessions. This continues throughout the year. Our Kixx academies normally take a two week break over the Christmas period, and this is usually down to venue availability during this time.
11. Do I have to re-enrol at the end of each block of Kixx sessions?
No, you don’t have to worry about that, your place is secure with us and will continue until you choose to cancel.
