Step One: Practice With Each Foot

Some children can score goals with both feet, whereas some are stronger with their left or right. When trying to perfect your shooting technique, try with both feet to see which is stronger. When you get to grips with which is your stronger foot, you can then focus on developing other techniques that help you score goals.

Step Two: One on One

Who doesn’t love a gripping penalty shootout? Something that can be practised at home or in your football lessons. A one on one penalty shootout is a really good way for kids to practice their scoring techniques.

Step Three: Improve Accuracy

Choose a corner of the goal, and keep going! One way to perfect your shooting technique in football lessons is by focusing on accuracy. The more accurate, the better your chance of scoring!
