Franchisees from across the country recently came together for our Kixx Franchise Development Day — a day filled with big conversations, fresh ideas, inspiration and plenty of #TeamOrange energy.
It was a chance to celebrate the incredible people behind the Kixx football franchise network. More importantly, it gave us an opportunity to look ahead and share what we want the future of Kixx to stand for.
Football will always be at the heart of what we do. However, our impact reaches far beyond the pitch.
Celebrating the impact of the Kixx football franchise
Kixx Founder Ben Hunter opened up the conversation around the impact our academies are having across the country.
Every week, Kixx coaches create opportunities for children to enjoy football, make friends, build confidence and feel part of something.
As the Kixx network continues to grow, so does the opportunity to make that difference in even more communities.
At Kixx, we believe children’s football should provide positive experiences that help young people develop both on and off the pitch.
That belief is at the centre of where we’re heading next.
A new Mission and Vision for Kixx
One of the biggest moments of our Development Day was sharing the Mission and Vision that will help guide the future of Kixx.
Our Mission
To create a world where every child can grow in confidence, character and belief.
We exist to positively impact children through unforgettable experiences that help them become stronger in life, not just sport.
Of course, we want children to learn how to pass, dribble and score. However, development is about much more than football skills.
It’s also about having the confidence to try something new. The character to keep going when something feels difficult. And the belief that you can improve.
Ultimately, these are qualities that can stay with children far beyond the football pitch.
Our Vision
To inspire every child to be better.
Better in attitude.
Better in courage.
Better in kindness.
Better in effort.
Better in resilience.
Better than yesterday.
Importantly, this isn’t about comparing one child with another.
Every child’s journey is different. We want to create an environment where children can progress at their own pace, enjoy being active and feel proud of what they achieve.
That’s why our Mission and Vision aren’t simply words on a page.
We want families to see and feel them throughout their Kixx experience — from the welcome they receive at an academy to the relationship their child builds with their coach.

Thinking bigger with Luke Staton
We were also delighted to welcome Luke Staton as our guest speaker for the day.
Luke brought incredible energy to the room, challenged perspectives and encouraged our franchise network to think bigger and aim higher.
It was a message that fitted perfectly with the conversations happening throughout the day.
For Kixx, growth isn’t simply about becoming bigger. Instead, it’s about creating opportunities to reach more children, support more families and make a positive contribution to more communities.
Sharing experiences across #TeamOrange
Some of the most valuable learning also came directly from our franchisees.
Throughout the day, members of the network shared their own stories, successes and challenges. As a result, everyone had an opportunity to learn from each other, exchange ideas and strengthen the relationships that make #TeamOrange what it is.

More than football
If there was one message that connected everything from our Development Day, it was this:
Kixx is about more than football.
Yes, we want children to develop their skills and fall in love with the game.
But we also want them to leave Kixx standing a little taller.
For example, they may have tried something they didn’t think they could do, made a new friend or bounced back after finding something difficult.
Those small moments can make a big difference.
And as #TeamOrange continues to grow, we want to create more of them for children across the country.
