Kixx Birmingham Franchisee, Dan Ludlow, proudly celebrated promotion success this month with Kidderminster Harriers to the National Football League.
Now we are going to be saying ‘Kixx Franchisee’ and ‘promotion’ quite frequently in this blog post, as there are several Kixx Franchisees involved in this almighty success story!
Just a few days ago, Kidderminster Harriers, faced Brackley Town in the National League North Playoff Final.
Now one of the twists is that we actually had two Kixx Franchisees representing Kidderminster Harriers and Brackley Town in the final, albeit in slightly different capacities.
Lining up in midfield for Brackley Town, was none other than Kixx Coventry Franchisee, Alfie Bates.
Our Kixx Birmingham South franchisee, Dan Ludlow, is actually ‘Head of Strength and Conditioning’ at Kidderminster Harriers.
Unfortunately this meant only one of our Kixx franchisees could win on the day!
Dan’s Kidderminster Harriers were victorious against Alfies’ Brackley Town, securing a 2-0 win and a proud promotion to the National Football League.
This is quite the success story for the Kixx Birmingham South Franchise team, as Dan Ludlow is the co-owner alongside professional footballer, Dan Scarr.
At the start of the month, Dan Scarr, secured automatic promotion with Plymouth Argyle from the EFL League One to the EFL Championship, just one division below the Premier League. That is some season for the Kixx Birmingham South Duo!
A huge congratulations to Dan Ludlow and Dan Scarr on incredible seasons with Kidderminster Harriers and Plymouth Argyle.
We are also so proud of Alfie Bates for his efforts this season with Brackley Town following a year playing in the Finnish Premier League. We have no doubt our Kixx Coventry franchisee will return even stronger next year.
It truly has been quite the magical footballing season for several of our Kixx Franchisees and the incredible promotion news doesn’t stop there.
Kixx Sheffield Franchisee, Jamie Green, multiple Kixx franchise owner, Liam King and Kixx Liverpool North owner, Jan Budtz, all made history this season as they played for Rossington Main FC.
Rossington Main achieved promotion to the Northern Counties East League Premier Division this season, for the first time in the clubs entire history. It was also the clubs first promotion in 32 years.
Bring on the 2023/2024 season!
The season maybe coming to a close for the UK’s professional footballers, but the work never stops and that includes the continued progress of all the Kixx Academies our franchisees own and represent.
Let’s not forget the Fifa Women’s World Cup is also just a couple of months away too! So lots more incredible football to enjoy!
