We are delighted to announce that Kixx Franchising has signed and launched no fewer than seven new Franchise areas across the UK since the end of the football season.
It’s certainly been a busy summer so far for the Kixx UK and Kixx Franchising teams as we continue to build an incredible franchise family, providing even more Kixx Football academies for children to get active across the country.
During August and September we will see the launches of Kixx Loughborough, Kixx Birmingham South and Kixx Stockport South.
Between the end of May and July we also launched Kixx Warrington, Kixx Durham, Kixx Colchester and Kixx Walsall.
Of course behind every new Kixx Franchise, is an incredible new franchise owner(s) and this is where it always gets exciting as it’s the people behind each Kixx franchise that make all the difference.
Just to mention a few names behind our new franchise areas….
The owners of Kixx Stockport South launching in September are Ethan Ebanks-Landell and Andre Carvalho-Landell.
Ethan is a professional footballer who started his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Over the years he has played for clubs including Sheffield Utd, Shrewsbury Town and will start the 2022/23 season with Rochdale AFC in League Two.
Andre started his football career alongside Ethan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, before going to America on a scholarship and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Tourism. Andre continues to play semi professionally alongside running several business ventures.
Both Andre and Ethan hold coaching qualifications recognised by the FA and UEFA.
July saw the launch of Kixx Colchester and Kixx Walsall.
Our Kixx Walsall Franchisee is 26-year-old pro footballer, Kyle Howkins. Just like Ethan, Kyle is a towering defender, who also started his career in the midlands, but Kyle’s career started with Wolverhamptons local rivals, West Bromwich Albion.
Kyle has also enjoyed spells in the football league with Port Vale, Mansfield Town and Newport County.
The journey of our Kixx Colchester Franchisee, is not too dissimilar to our founders, Ben Hunter.
Connor Chilvers left England to travel and set up a life in America pursuing a career in football which for Connor, this was more focussed around football coaching, whilst for Ben it was originally to pursue a playing career in the states.
Over his coaching career, Connor has been the Senior Goalkeeping Coach for clubs in San Antonio Texas and a youth team coach in the city of Alamo Heights.
Connor moved back to the UK with his family just a few weeks ago so they could start a new life, and a new adventure as the owner of Kixx Colchester.
What an amazing Summer it has been so far for our Kixx family and we are really excited for what the future holds for all our franchisees.
