Earlier in the year we announced the awesome success of the McDonalds Fun Football sessions and that even MORE venues were being made available across the country for children to enjoy free football during 2021.
The last couple of weeks have been a particularly amazing experience for many of our Kixx superstars, and Kixx coaching teams too, as Mcdonald’s filmed part of its national marketing campaign.
Incredible memories were created that will last a life time for some of these children, as they both met and played football with some of their sporting heroes.
England Football even Tweeted in support of the campaign which included a mention for Kixx:
The first filming experience was over at Wortley FC, the boyhood club for England International Star, Kalvin Phillips.
Several Mcdonald’s Fun Football sessions were taking place at Wortley FC and Kalvin was put through his paces alongside our Kixx coaches and all the excited children taking part.
We were also joined by football skills specialists LDN Movements and Blue Peter presenter, Richie Driss.
The children absolutely loved the experience and we would be fibbing if we said our coaching team didn’t love it too.
It was an incredibly proud moment for Kixx to be involved with one of the biggest brands in the world and to be part of the national campaign which positively impacts so many children.

Our next filming session was over in Manchester.
This time we were joined by Manchester Utd players Katie Zelem , Daniel James, and YouTube sensation Tekkerz kid.
This program is a partnership between the English Football Association and McDonalds to deliver a block of 4 weeks coaching to children, encouraging participants to get active and inspire them to stay active.
The nationwide initiative and programme aims to provide 5 million hours of Fun Football to over 500,000 children by 2022!
