We are thrilled to announce that 29-year-old Gary Walker has become the new franchise owner of Kixx Chesterfield! Gary is a very familiar face within the Kixx Chesterfield family and more commonly known as “Coach Gary” to his Kixx Chesterfield superstars!
From Coach to Franchise Owner
Gary Walker’s journey with Kixx started in 2017 at Kixx Doncaster before moving across to coach at Kixx Chesterfield for our previous Kixx Chesterfield franchise owners.
Over the years, he has not only coached at various Doncaster and Chesterfield venues but also spearheaded many of our Kixx Education programmes in local nurseries and schools.
This includes Doncaster’s Park Primary School, where he teaches alongside his long term partner, Caitlin.
A Dream Realised
Gary has proudly expressed immense gratitude and excitement about his new Kixx role as a Franchise owner, stating:
“It might sound a little corny but becoming a Kixx franchisee really is a dream come true after working for the brand for 7 years. My love for the Kixx and passion for coaching have only grown over the years.
“Whilst my coaching job has been a personal journey, my next step as a Kixx franchisee will be a journey fully shared with my partner, Caitlin.
“Caitlin has been incredibly supportive as we balance lives as teachers, my career as a Kixx coach and together as parent’s to our children.
“This is another reason I made the step to becoming a franchisee, alongside loving what I do, I want to help provide a better life for my family and this is a long term project we can grow together.
“The previous Kixx Chesterfield owners, Paul and Michelle were incredible and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me. I wish them all the best on their next journey and they really do deserve all the happiness in the world.
“I am taking over a fantastic group of academies and I am proud to build on the wonderful work they have done over the years in Chesterfield since we launched.
“My journey with Kixx spans for some years, and yet this feels like the beginning of a new exciting adventure, and I couldn’t be happier that I’m going to be owning a business that I simply love being a part of.”
