A Day in the Life of a Kixx Franchisee

28th August 2025

Ever wondered what it’s really like to run your own Kixx franchise?

From inspiring children on the pitch to building connections in the community, every day brings new challenges and rewards.

Being a Kixx franchisee is about combining your love for football, your drive to build a business, and your passion for helping children grow. It’s about being your own boss, shaping your schedule, and making your mark on the community — all while being supported by a proven model that takes away the guesswork.

At Kixx, our mission is simple but powerful: To positively impact over 100,000 children every week, helping them grow and develop both on and off the pitch.
And our vision? To inspire every child to be better through football.

Here’s what a typical day in the life of a Kixx franchisee involves

This is where the magic happens.

Kixx franchisees are deeply involved in planning and delivering high-quality, age-appropriate football sessions across academies, nurseries, and schools. Whether you’re on the pitch yourself or managing your coaches, you’re helping children develop confidence, coordination, and character every single week.

Because our sessions are rooted in early childhood development principles, children don’t just build football skills — they build life skills that last well beyond the pitch.

As a franchisee, you’re not just running sessions — you’re building a presence.

You’ll form strong partnerships with local schools, nurseries, community venues, and family-focused organisations. You’ll attend local events, support initiatives, and become a trusted, recognisable figure in your area. You’ll also build relationships with parents and carers — creating a sense of community and shared purpose that strengthens loyalty.

This connection is key to your long-term growth and reputation.

Your team is your biggest asset — and you’ll lead them with care.

You’ll recruit, train, and support a team of coaches, helping them deliver the Kixx experience to the highest standard. Whether they’re newly qualified or future leaders, your role is to nurture their development and create a culture of energy, consistency, and pride.

You’ll also follow the Kixx curriculum to ensure every session is delivered with consistency, quality, and care — maintaining high standards across all age groups and venues.

Each Kixx franchise operates its own network of academies, often across multiple days and venues.

You’ll manage schedules, registers, venues, child attendance, and the day-to-day logistics that keep everything running smoothly. Families quickly recognise when academies are well organised — and strong academy management builds trust, satisfaction, and long-term growth.

Social channels are one of your most powerful community tools.

Every franchisee manages their own Facebook and Instagram pages — engaging with families, sharing photos, celebrating weekly wins, and answering questions. Done well, this creates loyalty, visibility, and excitement for your brand in your local area.

You’ll actively grow your franchise by running discovery events, launching seasonal campaigns, and following proven marketing strategies developed by the Kixx HQ team.

While the Kixx brand opens doors, it’s your local execution that builds momentum. With the right tools, content, and guidance, you’ll attract new families and maintain a strong, consistent pipeline of members.
