On June 8th, the UK acknowledged National Best Friends Day. This day in the calendar allows people of any age to show appreciation for the best friends in their lives. Celebrating National Best Friends Day is just one of the many ways in which we can show our love and appreciation for our sidekicks.
This Kixx blog aims to follow a similar theme of best friends and explore exactly how being part of a family like #TeamOrange and attending football lessons can help your child make friends. Making friends at a football academy is something that many of our Kixx grownups, as well as the children, can vouch for!
If you would like your child to have improved confidence, better social skills and be able to make new friends, a football academy is a great place to start! At Kixx, we pride ourselves on creating an environment which encourages both new and existing friendships to blossom, as well as creating family-like bonds which can carry children into adulthood.
Making friends at a football academy can be the start of really valuable relationships for your child. No matter their age, being part of a football academy can help your child make friends in so many different ways – let’s explore!
Making Friends At Football Lessons
Whether your child is eager to widen their social circle or make a new best friend – football lessons are a great way to do so, alongside learning some great skills and having heaps of fun!
Football is a widely popular sport and in fact, one of the undervalued benefits of your child playing football is its ability to help form friendships and bonds with other children.
Being surrounded by like minded children, of a similar age, all with the same passion for football and sport is a key way in which football academies are at the root of so many friendships.
There are so many friendships, even into adulthood that are formed on the foundation of shared passions and interests, including that within sports.
The first step on your child’s journey is of course to sign them up to a football academy.
Our football academies up and down the country unite children through the love of football in a creative, fun and engaging way. Not only will your child meet new people and have the opportunity to make new friends but they will also pick up some valuable football skills and have a great time whilst doing it!
For young children, during the school holidays, it can be quite tough being away from your friends and going from seeing them every day to not much at all! Attending weekly football lessons means your child can have regular contact with their friends, strengthening their relationships and also their communication skills!
The benefits of joining a Kixx academy are not only that your child will get all the benefits of attending football lessons in general, but our classes are run throughout different regions, meaning your children (and you) can make new friends in your local area!
A shared love of sports, we think, is one of the best ways that both children and adults can build a solid foundation for friendship.
Making Friends At Kixx
Being a part of #TeamOrange is like being part of a family. Whether you are a parent, a coach or a child attending the football lessons, each integral part of Kixx plays a huge part in making sure our community is a warm and fun thing to be a part of.
Although, of course, football lessons aren’t the only place a child can make friends, we aim to ensure that children who attend our football academy are continuously working on bettering their social skills and creating long lasting friendships with other members of #TeamOrange.
At Kixx, we offer so much more than just football lessons. We also host football themed birthday parties, encouraging children and all their friends to get together and celebrate, as well as providing schools and their children with Kixx Education services.
