Time Trap Museum
Grimsby has an incredibly rich history, which is artfully displayed in the fascinating Time Trap Museum! Located in the former police cells of Grimsby Town Hall, the museum takes you through the town’s unique and colourful past in a family-friendly way.
Tickets can be purchased on entry, with adult tickets priced at £3.50, child tickets priced at £2.50 and under 5s go free! It’s a super affordable day out.
Nunny’s Petting Farm
Nunny’s Petting Farm holds a special place in the heart of the Grimsby community. This inclusive petting farm provides a fun and educational space for all children to reconnect with nature and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of engaging with animals. It is home to 13 species of animals including ponies, alpacas, rabbits, highland cows, pigs, goats and more.

Children can get involved in feeding, grooming, and even walking the animals! Tickets cost just £4 for adults and children 2+ years, and there’s no need to book in advance. Be sure to check the opening times before visiting as the weather may lead to last-minute changes.
Chequered Flag Outdoor Karting
If you have older children that double as thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies, you need to visit Chequered Flag Grimsby! This outdoor go-karting track is 700m of exhilarating fun with a bridge, tunnel and overhead timing gantry to make you feel like you’re on a proper racing circuit.

People’s Park
If the great British weather allows, there is truly no better place for your kids to let off steam than at People’s Park. Located just a short walk from Grimsby town centre, this fabulous public park boasts a central lake, bandstand, children’s play area, bowling greens, croquet lawn and café.
It’s the perfect place for a family walk or bike ride. During the summer months, People’s Park is home to a series of family events, including live music and concerts.
Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre
Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre is an unexpected gem that provides a fun family day out that’s bursting with adventure. This multi-award-winning attraction transports its visitors back to the 1950s when Grimsby Port was in its heyday.
